It is an evolved and fully mature Franciacorta, thanks to the very long time spent in the cellar in the company of the yeasts: twenty years of history make this wine an important sensory experience. Starting with its exhilarating scent, in which coffee, honey and white truffle stand out, aromas of amber, bergamot and candied orange peel. Hints that are enhanced by pastry scents such as amaretto liqueur, cocoa, puff pastry, hot butter, caramelized sugar, toffee.
In the mouth the bubble is a caress, in an alternation of those sensations already expressed on the nose, where however the spicy trait prevails which is expressed with a dry and very long finish, which evokes the ancient flavor of a long stay in the cellars. The persistence of the notes is bold, the creaminess of the Chardonnay is an invitation to perceive the power of Pinot Noir.
Vintage Pas Dosé Cuvée Riserva Doppio Zero is the wine for an important evening, which tells its age in the softness on the palate: the pressure weakened by the passage of time to 4.5 atmospheres gives a delicate and very fine perlage that envelops the palate with grace.
It is a meditation Franciacorta that knows how to satisfy the most cultured and demanding spirits. Between complexity, softness and intensity, it knows how to be remembered by itself, even without accompanying food.
On occasion, it can best enhance the most tasty dishes.
